Filotheos

A sweet, dessert, thanksgiving wine used in the worship of God, the wine that was blessed by Christ. This sweet wine has always been produced, following the tradition of the monastery's fathers. Nowadays this tradition is maintained with the guidance of Abbot Filotheos Spanoudakis, with the procedure of sun-drying and the old techniques. The result is a traditional excellent sweet wine.

Tasting Notes
Dried mushrooms and fig aromas, with hints of toffee and candied kumquat. Rich palate of raisins, pine tree honey and nutty finish. Super depth and very subtle tannins- one of a kind.
