Within the courtyard of the historic Toplou Monastery, Toplou Fabrica offers curated tasting experiences of wine, olive oil, and spirits produced by the Monastery itself. Our experiences were not designed simply for visitors to “taste,” but to truly experience. They are immersive journeys into monastic life, Cretan diet, and philosophy, as expressed through the monastery’s daily rhythm—experiences that place the visitor, even temporarily, within the pace, aesthetics, and quiet strength of the monastic world. Our proposals are structured across different levels of experience, so each guest can choose according to their available time, interests, and the way they wish to discover Toplou:
• CLASSIC & PREMIUM WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE
An authentic introduction to the world of the Monastery’s wines and spirits, in the historic Fabrica hall.
• MUSEUM & VINEYARD EXPERIENCE
A cultural walk that combines landscape, history, and taste, through the vineyard and the area displaying the monks’ traditional winemaking tools.
• TOPLOU PRIVATE VIP EXPERIENCE
The pinnacle of our experiences: a fully private, holistic monastic experience of high aesthetic standard, bringing together hospitality, taste, storytelling, and the unique setting of Toplou Monastery.
